So I’m having a problem with my Helio heater system. It keeps throwing a E1 error code which is that the connection to the probe is messed up. So I un connect it and connect it back and it will work. Then, within 10min to 20 minI will get an E2 error code, which is temp probes I unconnect them and re connect them code goes away the in about an hour later or so I get a E5 error code. It also randomly does a long beep almost every morning. I thought it was because it was a high temp but the control panel reads 78 and so do my back thermometers. I have the high alarm set for 80 and the low set for 76 the temp is nowhere near those to set it off. HELP! @Innovative Marine

Paul at IM has always help me with my IM products, I just ordered on for my tank. So i will be following incase I have similar issue...

I won it in a Reef2Reef giveaway and couldn’t be happier with it! This is the first hiccup. If I hadn’t have won it I would have bought one for sure for my RedSea 750

Have found that the temp probe can’t be to close to the heating elements. Moved tump probe to overflow box and heaters in sump. Haven’t had a E1 error code since (going on 3 months now).

My probe is in the tank and both heaters are in the sump
I emailed Innovative Marine when I had the E1 error. They got back to me the same day and help me fix the issues. Found IM to be very responsive.

Where do you have your heaters and probe
Heaters are in the main section of the sump and probe is the return box in the back of the tank. Found this to be best setup for the heater.

Hmmm I keep getting the error codes for low flow and I’ve talked to innovative marine about it and they keep telling me to move my heater but anywhere I do I still keep getting error codes.

You have your probe in the overflow?
Correct - the temp probe is up top in the overflow box. Heaters are in the sump. Look to the right of my skimmer, you will see the heater positioned horizontally.
