I would suggest using a acclamation box and place the aggressive clown in the box to change the clowns environment. Simple a time out for the aggressive clown and for the dominated clown to have a couple of day to de-stress. Then re introduce the aggressive clown and see how they do. Treat it like a behavioral issue.Should I put a divider in the tank? When I was looking this morning the one being dominated had a chunk of its tail and anal fin (if that’s what it’s called) missing.
Thank you for the advice. I’m going to get one set up as soon as I’m home from workI would suggest using a acclamation box and place the aggressive clown in the box to change the clowns environment. Welcome Jake!Welcome to R2R and the salt life![]()

sorry about your fish. I don't have experience with fish aggression, but you could try a week? Not to sound dooms day, some clownfish unfortunately never take to a mate. But you should definitely try again. Try introducing a smaller size than the aggressive fish.Unfortunately the fish who got attacked died today. If I were to get a new clownfish how long should I keep them in the acclimation box?
