Hello from Silver Spring MD

Should I put a divider in the tank? When I was looking this morning the one being dominated had a chunk of its tail and anal fin (if that’s what it’s called) missing.
I would suggest using a acclamation box and place the aggressive clown in the box to change the clowns environment. Simple a time out for the aggressive clown and for the dominated clown to have a couple of day to de-stress. Then re introduce the aggressive clown and see how they do. Treat it like a behavioral issue.

Thank you for the advice. I’m going to get one set up as soon as I’m home from work

Welcome Jake and with a tank that size the dominance/sex adjustment your fish are going through is hard on the smaller on and hard to watch

with a 10G might want to buy a piece of plexiglass , drill a bunch of holes in it ands try to separate them while they settle this thing out...

Unfortunately the fish who got attacked died today. If I were to get a new clownfish how long should I keep them in the acclimation box?
sorry about your fish. I don't have experience with fish aggression, but you could try a week? Not to sound dooms day, some clownfish unfortunately never take to a mate. But you should definitely try again. Try introducing a smaller size than the aggressive fish.
