Help! Clownfish dead

Not to the point where I thought it was a problem. I bought them when they were real small back in may, and they seemed to pair up and would do normal clownfish bickering at each other, but nothing crazy.

Okay...with clowns it's hard to say. One minute they are chummy with each other and the next they'll fight to the death. It usually takes them a couple of days for one to kill another one so you would have noticed if they were being overly aggressive with each other. Are you sure nothing else in the tank was picking on the clowns...perhaps at night while the lights were off? I ask because the dead one's tail fin sure looks shredded.

I know. it is hard to say. the tail had been like that for a couple months. I don't see anyone bullying them.. occasionally my coral beauty would nip at one but nothing crazy and haven't seen that in a while.

they are longfins kinda normal,it would be the side fin ripped off for a immediate kill blow ,you said you fed this morn and were ok?

Good point. That does seem to be common with the long fins. And honestly I fed pretty quickly in the morning today. I didn't notice anything odd, but wasn't in the most observant mode either..

when you say bent ,think back poss broken?is there a power head that could suck it in and shoot it out ? post pic of phead ,know it sounds crazy ,but some will tear them up ,some will just pass through

When I saw him floating the first thing I noticed was that he was bent. I have two reef breeder RPM.

I hope that's it.. It just seems real strange that the other one has a cloudy eye all of a sudden. However, as you can see in the pics, the dead one did not have the cloudy eyes. Im really perplexed and just hope that it's nothing major.

if eye does not clear in 48 hrs, or other eye gets cloudy come rt back here ,or any other fish get ;)

Update: my royal gramma has now relocated to the opposite side of the tank. He had been in that one area for months and never left. But today he’s now on the other side. I fed brine shrimp, their favorite, and he wouldn’t come out and eat. I’ve also noticed the clown has a small chunk taken out of her left pectoral fin. I observe the tank a good amount and don’t see any bullying??? I don’t know what to do.

observe from a point they cannot see you ,or put on web cam video, and see what goes on while not looking

I sat for a while and saw the bullying ensue. The leopard wrasse and coral beauty Both picking at him. The leopard wrasse was the most recent addition too... can’t believe that. Now trying to find a new home for the clown. Don’t want him to have the same fate
