I recently set up my second saltwater aquarium. I was pretty confident with the whole process and then I noticed I put the wrong heater in the tank. I put the heater I used in a tank I treated for ick with, so it was exposed to the treatment! Please help, is there anything to be done?

How big is the tank? The bigger the tank the smaller the effect of any possible contaminant. How long has the heater been stored dry? It may be so little effect versus water volume that your concern is reduced.

I had it dried for a couple days and I rinsed it with ro water really well afterwards. I didn't plan on using it but some how it was the one that ended up in the tank. It is in a 29 gallon biocube

Should not be an issue. If there is a concern, drop a little metroplex in the frozen and feed. Also use some seachem focus to bind the metroplex to the food.

I would think just clean it off with some isopropyl . but If its already in there i don't think it will be a big deal. if anything was on it its evaporated and such a small amount

If the heater was completely dry, you won't have a problem.
