Still somewhat of a newbie so I have no idea what these are, kinda freaking out a little. Tank is 75G with a Lifereef sump system and is coming up an a year running. Water parameters have been normal, salinity at 1.025, nitrates hang between 10-15, phosphate .09, PH hovers 7.9-8, and alk at 8dkh with the temp kept at 78. I never went through the uglies with this tank, started with live sand and rock and use tropic Marin pro for my mix. The only thing I went through was a case of Ich from a contaminated fish from the lfs. Quarantined the fish with ttm first then ended up doing a coper treatment, display tank was fallow for a good 8 weeks. Noticed one or two of these weird things but now if I look carefully I'm finding them more and more in the crevices of the rock.
I have No Idea what these are, I'm hoping someone can help I'd these and let me know if it's something I need to address.

Thank you for such a quick reply! I'm not familiar with them, how does it get introduced? I haven't added anything for probably 6 months! I've found like 10 or 12 of these in some form of development, will they overtake the tank?

Pineapple sponge, harmless filter feeder.
+1 they’re common to newer tanks, and they’re thought to be silica limited. If they’re showing up now after no other changes, you may need to check/change your RODI filter. As mentioned, they’re harmless - I’ve never heard of them taking over a tank or annoying anything. I’d imagine they come in on live rock or coral frags.

Whew, thanks. That all makes sense, I am due for filter changes on my rodi system.
I really appreciate the quick responses!

They are spherical, that one was just the closest to the glass and easiest for me to try to get a pic of. After looking at some other pics online the match up 100%.

Still not saying it. Pineapple sponges are spherical sponges with spiky looking guys all over them. I see none of that.
Yeah, if you look closely at the right side of the sponge in the picture, you can see a whitish blur where the spicules are still forming the spherical shape (the blur is a little stronger closer toward the bottom, but you can see it nearer to the top too).

Edit: it’s present on the left side too, it’s just harder to see because of the substrate in the picture.

I'll have to take y'all's words for it. I'm just seeing a whispy looking inverted cone shape.
