HELP! i overdose KH-CA!

hello,
i got in a big problem i don't know how but all my container was dosed in my tank
800ML of all for reef has been dosed in my tank
i turned my dosing by mistake and forget about it

a full colony of SPS bleach out immediately
my tank is only 300L dosing should be around 30ML a day do i dose 26 more what i should do
i had 100L of RODI so i mix it so fast and add it to my tank
what else can i do ?

That would depend on what your tap water is like. The good news is that carbocalcium is a bit of a time release product so if you RODI will be ready soon you can just wait.

I'm sorry this happened. Damage has most likely been done.

Water changes are all that will help. I would head to a lfs for premixed saltwater or at least ro/di water. Another option would be a grocery store or big box store for distilled water. Good luck.

i have this 100L tank for testing i twas set around 1 weeks
so now i took from this and i change new 100L tank
both my system 300L and i did 200L water change
i hope nothing happen to them i did put alot of investing on them

I hate to say this but the sensitive coral is probably toast. At this stage I would just do a big water change and then prep for another a day later and etc.. I would not go crazy and throw any extra money at it. Meaning go through a box of salt or what not. Just get alk to a somewhat normal range and run with it. Let it go down slowly once at 12 or something.

so i have done more than 50% water change now

Hopefully its enough. The first wc was about 30% so reduced the approximate amount of solution from 800ml mixed in your water to around 560ml mixed in after the change. The second one being also 30% would have reduced it to approximately 392ml left in the remaining water. Still about 13x your usual dose. Those figures are total guestimates as how much of the carbocalcium has been converted into Alk and CA is an unknown but close enough for what we are talking about. I'd do another WC as soon as your RODI makes enough which if it's another 100L should reduce it down a little more(something like 274ml equivalent). The first two were the most important because you removed that portion hopefully before a lot of it was converted. I hope things pull through.

as soon as i saw this i turn my pump
then drain all my sump first of all as i figer that might be most of it there hope this is the case
1 hour and i will test the KH

one colony of SPS that was stressed before this one was dead i manage to do 3 frags from it but i don't know if it will service
