Hello,

I’m glad I set up a QT for this batch I just bought from Liveaquaria because I have a fish with a discoloration on its side.
I bought a kole tang, Midas blenny and 2 green chromis.
One of the chromis was DOA and the other has a dark strip around it’s body and is kinda just hovering around.
They are all together in my QT so if it’s an infection I don’t know how long to hold them in the tank.
Attached are the pics, let me know what you think.

Is it just a discoloration under the skin ? (possibly int. hemorrhaging) or look more like a reddish sore? (Uronema)

Chromis are incredibly common vectors of Uronema is why I ask.

Its difficult to say then, could be internal hemorrhaging from injury or it could be the start of Uronema.

Knowing how frequently Uronema comes in on chromis, that is where my money is in this case unfortunately.

Maybe others will chime in and have other ideas and a second opinion.

Refer to this thread for treatment if its determined to be Uronema.

Best of luck with them !
