Looks like a Kenya tree. A nice clean sharp razor blade to one of the branches will work.

One is a nephthea sp. and one is a singularia sp. They both are commonly called kenya trees. Not sure which is the original kenya tree. This is one of the problems with common names.

And to be clearer and more confusing there are the many different capnella sp. That are all called Kenya trees. What I see in that pic are two capnella sp. and a singularia. Each of these corals have a multitude of common names and some even over lap.

I thought singularia was most commonly referred to as finger leather

Yes it is but I have seen it listed as a tree coral as well... go figure. I don't particularly like common names for this reason.

Thanks for the responses I would have never thought Kenya tree it is off one massive stalk prolly 8 in around looks nothing like my other Kenya tree

Yea I think we need to get a handle on the soft coral common names. I mean if I ask someone for a finger leather who knows what I will end up getting. The same goes for tree coral and colt coral.
