So I've been fighting this algae for awhile now, and originally I thought it was Dino due to long strings with a bubble on the end, but now I'm thinking it was Lyngbya. I have two tuxido urchins that are doing a nice job of cleaning it up, and it doesn't seem to be spreading anymore. I think this was caused by using some custom LFS food which contained a ton of amino acids, roids, pellets, etc. This spiked amino and nutrients and I started to initially see a dark brown matt like algae taking over most of my rocks.

The tank is around 80% clean now, but I still need to do daily turkey basting and scrubbing as the algae on the walls seem to come back slowly. Currently I'm dosing MB7 daily, and MB Clean once a week which seems to be helping.

So, I have a very similar thing going on here. You just have one more than I do. What you have looks like GHA/bryopsis, but also looks like dinos growing on top of them, and you also have cyanobacteria. If you have to turkey baste daily, its probably dinos. The big 3, gha, lyngba, and bryopsis will not remove by basting. And only dinos and diatoms grow fast enough to have to remove daily. And diatoms wont baste off. What are your water parameters?
