Hello my protein skimmer fail corals are dying I got a replacement an Octopus 100 HOB stated as new just the box was damaged, i got it today and this thing is a mix of parts from a 100 and a 1000 uggg from online the body is a 100 the pump is a AQ1000s this unit doesnt even have a skimmer cup 
if he gets back to me on my text and i get a skimmer cup, as i was able to get the plumbing together although it too is half 100 and half 1000 would this 1000 motor be to much for the 100 body and create an overflow? I need to try and get this to work i am loosing coral although doing lots of water changing. Thanks for any help,

put Sea Gel in a reactor, did a few water changes this would be the 3rd, and running a sock on the return for the media reactor. So i should be ok to deal with the guy it might recover.? I still wonder if that 1000 motor would cause an overflow maybe if he makes it right i wont have to find out.
