Good morning,
I bought a skimmer regal 170 ext recirculating, it brings the pump RO-DC-3500s, but this does not generate any bubbles ... I've already assembled and checked the pump, check the packaging and everything is fine but it does not generate enough bubbles.
I've seen several videos of how to assemble it in case you used to do something wrong, but still it does not generate enough bubbles.
your help please

Thank you

Is the impeller turning? I bought a used Reef Octopus Regal 220-INT which has a RODC 5500s and the impeller was seized (due to calcium deposits). I soaked it in vinegar for a short while and got it unstuck and it works like a champ again.

Thank you!
If it's spinning !! Is totally new, I made it yesterday, it makes bubbles but very few and big!

Do you have this controller? Is the pump turned up to 5? You hit the "plus" button to ramp up the pump speed. Otherwise just clearing out the airline tubing?

Yes, I have that same controller!
Start of 1 increasing up to 5 with an interval of time to let revolutionize, but the bubbles are very few and big!
I'll try to take a video and share it when I'm at home!

I could not upload the video, but i show you some photos.
Tejer it is in level 5, that is the maximum And i do not see a good job of the skimmer...
Yesterday i cleaned it with vinegar and put it back together and nothing, it's still the same :(

Is that fresh water? Freshwater doesn't make the same bubbles as salt water. Some people may clean it with bleach/vinegar but it takes a while for the organic film to develop on the plastic before it will start producing a head. In fresh water skimmers don't make as fine of bubbles. Also, se puedes llame al coralvue; se habla espanol. https://www.coralvue.com/support/ They're very good, I've had nothing but great experiences with them.

For the moment if I am doing tests in fresh water, this to see the behavior of the skimmer, since it is the first time that I will use a recirculant in a new project that I am realizing.
But I'm going to take the test with salt water, in the aquarium that I have currently running.
The product I buy with them, I will, in that I am, to get in touch with them so that they can guide and help me.

Thank you very much Ocellaris, I am new to this and I did not have the knowledge in the difference of the waters at the moment of generating the bubbles !!
