Hey, so my new tank cycled for about 6 weeks, moved 1 fish and a couple corals over last week, and now I’m getting these whitish stringy things coming off the rocks in a few places. Any idea what this is or what to do? Thanks!

Its a combo of hair algae and bacteria. It should blow loise with a turkey baster. If not, toothbrush and siphon or peroxide dip.
Often associated with water quality due to inadequate filtration or over feeding

Really hair algae? Absolutely no green color to it.
This made me switch from phone to a computer screen. . . Yikes- whole different image. Thought that white piece in center was fuzzies.
Its poriferan sponge and harmless. you can leave it or trim it.
