So my protein skimmer is creating bubbles out of the discharge port, any ideas, it’s a new tank.

My guess is it’s reacting to something in your water. How new is the tank? What have you added?

I wouldn’t worry at all. Give it at least a week before passing judgment. The skimmer could be breaking in or responding to sand particulates or perhaps the seed.

Yep, it’s a new tank with a new skimmer. My 60s went nuts for about 2 weeks before calming down.
