Help with acan

Look at your other coral. If you are seeing sings of deterioration then pull your your coral to a hospital tank with different water. Wene i caught on to what was happening. I put all the rest of my coral in a 5 g tank all that i had at the time. In brand new water, crazy right. But it work. Saved a few colonys

With Kessil's you can't really set the color to an inappropriate setting, any range should be fine. However I would not put an acan under a Kessil at 100% intensity unless it's got some shade, even if it's already acclimated. That sounds like too much. (I'm using Kessil's exclusively, FWIW)

But I never said 100% intensity.

My maximum intensity is 50%.
Colour 50%.

How long have u been using it. Read the direction s it will tell u that it will strip the algae from the coral if not used properly and it isn't recommended with systems with that high of nitrate

Are you saying NoPox isn't recommended with system with 40 ppm of No3 ?

...Lighting is 1x Kessil A360WE mounted in the centre of the tank (approx. 15 - 20 cm away from water surface).

Lighting duration 9 hours (2 pm to 11 pm) with maximum intensity and color set to 50/50.

In the reality that I live in, "maximum" means 100%, not 50%, LOL. This sentence reads to me as intensity is maximized (100%) and color is at 50/50 (because Kessil's color knob used to be a balance between white and blue, therefore 50/50 would imply you set color at the midrange between the two.)

But I can see how what you wrote could be interpreted differently: intensity and color are both at 50 and do not exceed 50.

The bottle says not recommended for high nirtate systems. Wene i get home ill read it off for u

If so pull em cause. I stopped dosing and a week later i was still experience ing deaths

What? If it's not to combat high Nitrate, what is it suppose to do? Are we talking about the same product here?

Am sorry but I found that hard to believe.

Isn't that the whole purpose of carbon dosing? You want to lower high level of No3.
