Help with Gyre

Just picked up a Gyre tonight and feel the it could be running more efficient. I have it on the left side of the tank about 3 inches below water level.It moves water really well but throws the sheet to high for the center column. Does anyone have one of these who run it at different heights?Any help of really appreciated!

You can adjust the cages to get the flow where you want all you have to do it turn them. But they do move a lot of water I have mine about where yours is pushing across the tank and don't see any dead spots.
