Help with hammers

I have never had that issue but I have heard it could be due to high flow.

Yes. Death.

I had this happen for a while and lost old hammer, torch and frog spawn colonies and new frags, as well as almost all my acro and acans. The only odd things I found were through a triton test, copper and zinc were both elevated. Monti, stylos, zoas, birdsnest and many other corals unaffected. I since cleared up those issues alone, and now have acro, hammer, torch, and frogspawns and acans doing quite well again.

Highly suggest a triton test.

Along with the above stated there could have been a parasite or just any other number of un knowns. What are your h20 parameters at?

Current is an issue but not to only one. Polyp bailout in euphyllia is not uncommon. Your water perimeters may help. That is more often why polyps bail.

When I had a nitrate spike (after discontinuing vodka dosing) I had polyp bailout. Did some large water changes and got back on the juice and I was able to save the rest. I had a hammer that lost 3 out of 8 heads or so. Have you done any basic testing lately?
