So I have a leaky bulk head and want to loosen the nut and reseat the bulk head. Problem is that I can't get the nut to budge and there isn't room up there to get my channel locks up there. Does anyone have any ideas!

You might be able to fit a small strap wrench. So I have a leaky bulk head and want to loosen the nut and reseat the bulk head. Problem is that I can't get the nut to budge and there isn't room up there to get my channel locks up there. Does anyone have any ideas!![]()
Undo the union. lift the end of the tank and slip a piece of PVC under . Fix bulkhead.
Make a Strap wrench by slotting a piece of iron pipe or drilling holes in it and use a piece of small aircraft cable or a leather belt as the strap.
There are many ways
Thanks! Definitely worth a shot! No doubt you have spent your fare share of time under the tank like that. I have invested too much already and have exposed those around me to things that no one should hear. Also I very illogical just lay there for a couple minutes looking at it like it will spontaneously fix itself!!!!
When the nut won't budge, "The Stare" is my standard go-to move at times like these. I also beseech the Lord, and if those moves fail I'll go to a bar & get nipped and probably start a fight. I've never thought about coming on here before and asking for help but today I learned something. Thanks @Feet4Fish for posting!

Nice suggestion @WVNed . I hope I never have to try any of this on my own.
