Hermit shells from craft store

Has anyone ever put shells in tank that were purchased at a craft store?

I’ve never tried craft store shells. I purchase mine from saltwateraquarium.com. They are sterilized which gives me piece of mind.

Yeah I usually get them at my lfs but was wondering about ones at craft store

To be safe, bleach them with a 10% solution soak for at least 24hrs, rinse with boiled hot RO water. then leave them in the sun to dry.

Seems like a lot of uncertainty so I’ll just look into sticking with lfs lol
