High magnesium

The stumbled upon this thread wondering the same question. All of sudden my magnesium is really high. This isn't in just one tank this is in two tanks. I have a 30 gallon and a 2.5 gallon. both have the same magnesium levels. Same Red Sea test kit. I have added no extra magnesium. Most of the time I don't dose magnesium at all it comes from the water changes. I do a 10 percent twice week.

Have you contacted Red Sea about this?

I use aquaforest. It turned out to be my test kits so aquaforest salt does not have high mag. Everything is in line... perfectly
