Hi!
I have a 75g with w 29 g sump. Tanks been running around 2 years with a pretty low bioload.
I have recently been battling GHA and some bubble algae. I have been getting low phosphate
readings using a Hanah checker...(sometimes 0) but I'm sure that's just because the algae is using
it up. I have a Phosban 150 reactor half filled with GFO and carbon but it does not seem to be helping
much. I have some Phosphate RX on hand that I am considering dosing daily to try to get things under
control (I will dose into a sock) but I am not sure what a safe amount the Phosphate RX would be
to dose per day without causing any harm to the tank. I have around 80 gallons of total water.
Can you give me an idea how many drops I should dose a day?
And help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Mike

I'm I not a big fan of lanthanum, but it does lower phosphate well. I've not used it, but I'd probably start at 5 drops spread out over the course of a day.

Watch the alkalinity. :)
