How much powerhead action?

Looking for insight on a power head solution for a 220 6’ tank. The key difference is it’s going to be a FOWLR, so I don’t want to overspend on features necessary for reef demands. I see all the great reviews on the MPs - my feeling is that extra $ could be used elsewhere.

She’s a big tank - I don’t want to skimp either.

I’m leaning towards 2-4 big honkin Tunze PHs, but I’d love to hear some options. Is there a controller solution that would give me some options for different flows without breaking the bank?
