How to edit a post

I have posted a thread in the for sale section and was able to edit it at one point but now I can't seem to do it anymore and I have tried looking everywhere but I can't find any info on how this works. Can anyone shed some light on how it works.

It's 25 bucks a year. Than you can do all the fancy stuff. revhtree goes out and parties with the money I'm sure! Lol. No he buys stuff for events. I guess.
