It's pretty and all but it is WAY too fast growing.
I put in on an island trying to stop it from spreading, but just like a zombie movie, it hit the mainland and everything is turning green!
But really, it has spread and has gotten on my armor of God zoa's plug and is irritating a few of the polyps. I have separated it from the mat and moved the plug to an isolated spot on the sand but the damage has been done, there is GSP mat on the plug. I figured i would be able to pull it out and be able to pick it off with tweezers or scrape it with a scalpel or something, but that is not proving an easy task. It doesn't separate and when it is out of the water it is near impossible to tell the difference between it and the zoa. Have any of you got any experience in removing GSP? Can i kill it possibly with some hydrogen peroxide or kalkwasser without it taking out my zoa's? or am i going to have to refrag the good heads and write it off as a loss? Thanks in advance!

where are you at? i have it growing up the glass, would be really easy to frag off and ship if it doesn't freeze on the way there

Florida. I'm looking for a large amount. All the stores around me are selling them for $20 to 30 a frag.

$20 - $30 a frag locally? That's insane - if you were closer I'ld give you some. I have a tower in one tank that the top is literally covered in it and it's shedding.

dang I wish. Same thing with Xenia man. It’s rough out here lol. They’re charging $30 per 1 inch drag. Like I understand they’re corals and the hobby is pricey but like these corals grow like weeds. (Sorry for hijacking the thread LOL)

Dont know how to get rid of it,I want it to grow in my tank but dont manage to.
Wanna know the secret to growth? i have found that it is neglect :p LOL, this tank has been in idle mode for the last 2 months and everything is overgown.

Dang, I got this one for $12. Agreed, if you were closer you could have a bunch of this one.

Check online - folks like saltyunderground and others usually have decent prices on GSP and Xenia - especially in a couple of weeks w/Black Friday sales.

Any way you could ship via priority mail? I can send you the label etc.

I could probably do that, it has been in the low 20's temperature wise here though. i could put a heat pack in with it, but couldn't guarantee anything about how it would be when it arrives. you may be better off buying one for $20 rather than eating shipping.

i will have to try that, i think it would work great on the rock work but would be difficult to implement between the polyps on the zoas
yeah wouldn't be the best between the zoas, i'd get an exacto knife and scrape it away or just try and cover it with superglue just don't cover any zoas lol
