I have ordered 2 hydor auto top off systems and both have had issues with the alarm sounding prematurely has anyone else had this issue with this product

Yes, there has been reports of this happening.

I used one for years. THe problem I had the most was if water level ever got below all three sensors, it reads that as the same as if all three were in water...and would not top off. Therefore, if water ever got that low, I had to manually get it back up between the first and second. If all three read the same temp, the ato will not work.
