I have a waterbox 180. 140 Display 60”x24x24. I have three hydra32s. Lights are 10” above waterline. Based on my apogee par meter, I’m getting about 230 par at the peak of the schedule at the top of my rocks. This is at almost full output but I don’t want to max out the light. I would like to try some more colorful acros but thinking I would need higher par. Would replacing the 32s with the 64s increase my par?

Yes it would increase the par. You could just get a T5 hydrid fixture to add to the 32s or just add a couple more 32s to what you have.

I have three 32s. Thought of just swapping out the two side ones for 64s and leaving the middle 32 Cause I only have one giant bubble in the center of the tank I’ve had for 20 years and he’s pretty high and doesn’t need more light. As it is I run the center light at a lower setting.
