Once I started to find mucus trails like that every day in the morning among the rocks ... I started looking after the night and after the lights went out with a flashlight, and finally I found a cowry that probably came in some living rock that I collected in the sea. Something in that mucus attracted the tangs, who liked to eat it.

Best Regards

Definitely a bacteria like salty spoke about probably from Cleaning products and fresheners. My wife cleaned with lysol and probably bleach (mopping) and although she didn't swore nothing went close to the tank I guess the fumes of the deoderiszers got in anyway. The windows were open so maybe that screwed me up. Fixable tho I was ready to start over seeing the damage this has done to other reefs online. It's very serious for equipment pumps refugiums socks etc and eventually livestock.
