I built a fishroom and all was going well until I realized that the floor were my 6 foot acrylic sump sits is not level and one corner of the sump does not touch the floor. I have 2 layers of self leveling mat under but it is just too much to make up with foam. What can I do?

Here it is

probably just pack that sump up and ship it to me...doesnt look like it will work for you, lol.

In all seriousness, maybe build a small short stand for it to sit on. And just build it out of level to offset the floor issue. Sheet it with plywood then add the foam or self leveling mats.

Beautiful sump

+1 on this idea, You might also get some of the adjustable feet for the stand, that way you can build the stand normally and then just adjust the feet to get it level.

How much is it off?
1/2", 2 "
Acrylic is more compliant, so that's good.
Why do we care if the sump is level?

Here's an idea, and see if anyone else thinks it will work. Use a piece of 3/4" plywood under the entire length. Put the leveling mats over that, and the sump on top. Then shim the plywood to level. The strength of the plywood combined with the mats should relieve any stress on the sump. Maybe.

So I need to keep it as close to the ground as possible for drainage drop. I have attacheda few more pics of it full and a close up of the gap

Place it on a plywood cutout and shim if necessary

a gloss would be best, but any paint will seal it :)

perfect!!!

has to be 3/4" ,does not have to be marine grade

the edges will seal with the marine paint
