Icecap battery help

Hi folks-
I have 2 of the version 3 icecap batteries and reef octopus varios4 return. For the life of me I can’t get it to run off batteries despite it being a model listed as supported. I get pass through power if the pump power supply is on but as soon as I disconnect it I do not get power from thr battery. I’ve even checked the fuse and it looks good.

I'd try a voltmeter on the output terminals with the line power off and see what you get. ALSO, It says this on their site. "IMPORTANT: Not compatible with HYDROS or IceCap Dual Pump WiFi Controller" are yours WiFi controller type?

Brs lists the various pumps as compatible but all other sites including coralvue state that various pumps are not supported. Im
