Some people are not going to like me saying this but...
I have had a little success with a fish that had ich (I think it was ich but might of been battle wounds) in my display by soaking the food in Kent marine garlic extreme and a uv sterilizer. It was a powder blue that i had quarantined for two weeks in a copper treatment, dropped in the display and my yellow beat on him good. Two days later he had what looked like a few little bumps on him. I already have a uv sterilizer and just started soaking the food in the garlic extract to see if it would live up to the claims. After two weeks, the powder blue's skin was as smooth as my son's backside. I don't know why it worked but it did, I also feed two times a day with a mixture of veggies and carnivore diet. I am not claiming that it is a cure but it did work for me, from my understanding healthy fish build up an antibody to resist and fight ich, it is just a manner of keeping them healthy enough to fight it off.
