one question - i have moved 4 fishes in a QT tank as I saw ich developing on their fins and lethargy. it's only been 2 days with fritz copper treatment, i read somewhere that one needs to increase the copper level slowly up to 2 mg and maintain for 30 days. can someone pls confirm if this is correct. and keep them in QT for 14 or 30 days? these fishes are from my DT.

I would suggest using copper power since it’s a lot easier on fish never used fritz so not sure maybe someone else can chime in here. But I run my copper power around 1.75 ppm for two weeks

Chelated coppers like Copper Power or Coppersafe are best dosed slowly up to therapeutic range. Which starts at 1.5 ppm. But to be safe we used to dose 1.75 ppm. But that's gone up a bit to 2.0 ppm
Then hold at "Therapeutic" for at least 14 days and then move the fish into a fresh, sterile QT for observation for 15 days. Or just leave the fish in at "therapeutic" for 30 days and done.

Ah ok. Thanks. As of now I have a clown and scopas tang in there. Is it normal for them to not eat as the copper is messing with their appetite?

Yes, it happens a lot. Copper is after all a poison. Some adjust, some don't. The not eating is one of the reasons some pull the fish at 14 days from the copper and into a fresh QT.
