ID-Help possible pest

I found this guy (2 actually) on the undeside of one of my Maximas-The clam has not been as fully open as it has in the past so I wanted to investigate. I have seen pics of these guys but cant remeber what it is or if its good/bad-The only thing I can think of is some nudi???

Anyone kow what this is and if it is a pest to the clam? I did not know where to post this.

I started watching that but I'm more interested in how to get rid of it or them. i've lost 3 clams in the last 4 months, now I think I know why.

I have not found a single positive way of getting these, other than try to bait and trap it.

Not good from what I have been reading since Mike posted the ID nearly 2 hours ago.

Just in case someone is doing a search and runs across my post, after about 3.5-4 hours of reading numerous posts/threads my research is that there is no in tank treatment- Flatworm exit does not although you will run across threads where people say it does. The posts that mention the person actually adding 1.5-4x the regular dosage into a cup that has one of theses suckers and it does not kill them, tells me it does not wrk-Thats my opinion.

Going forward I will be removing all my clams and put them in my Q/T and building a trap which I will bait with various snails to draw these critters out and slowly (very slowly I'm sure) I hope to rid my tank of them and return the clams.

I'm game for as long as it takes-1 month, 6 months bring ot on

Haha I love the positive attitude and attack plan! I thought there was a certain type of wrasse that ate them? I've never had them so I don't know for sure.

Sorry to hear about your clams and I have experienced the same flat worms. I had my clams on the sand bed and from my experience, the flatworms do not like to travel across the sand bed. The only reason I noticed is that I had a pile of snail shells in one location of the tank. I began to investigate in that area to determine what was happening to the snails. Finally after removing the rock, I noticed several of these flatworms on the rock.
I removed the rock from the tank and removed the corals from the rock. I'm not sure if I got rid of the flatworms as I have since torn the tank down.
