I need help in getting better flow in my tank. The tank is 96"x30"x25". For flow I have 2x Jebao DC12000 as return pumps and 4x Jebao RW15's for in-tank circulation. All 4 wave makers are controlled via my Apex and are programed to change modes and intensity throughout the day so its constantly getting random flow patterns at different intensity. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be enough. While there is no detritus on the rocks some detritus has begun to collect mainly on the back side of the tank and on both ends of the tank. There is some on the front but not as much as there is on the back. The pumps are mounted on the side panels of the tank (Left & Right) with two pumps on each side.

On drew this quickly to give you guys an idea of what Im talking about and so you can see the way the pumps are positioned.

The green circles represent the wave makers and the green lines with the arrows represent where the flow is directed.

The black outline in the center represents my rock structure and the reddish tiny dots that almost look like spray paint represents where the detritus is collecting.

Here is a picture of the actual tank when the rocks first went in. As you can see the rocks are placed about 5 inches from the back glass.

The purpose of this thread is to ask the experts for their suggestion as to what I should do to improve the flow. Do I need to re-position my wave makers, do I need to ditch them and get something else or do I just need to add a few more pumps?

I have been thinking about that. Where would you put them? one of each side of the tank or both on the back glass?

Have you had any issues with snails getting inside? I have read a few stories of the outside housing of the pump breaking due to snails.
