5 years on my oldest inkbird model with cooling and heating features and no issues. Temp stable, no calibration needed. Also run the heat only controller and wifi heat/cool controller. The older heat only unit came with a metal probe, which I coated in silicon. Newer one's use plastic probes. I did have an Auto Aqua smart temp security fail in the off position, after a two years installed. I prefer having the redundancy, but have found the Ink Bird controllers adequate for a SPS system. That said, I have not issue with a 2 degree temp swing, which is what the Apex reports, even when the inkbird is set to keep the temp within 1 degree.
