You're unlikely to come out of pre-filters with 3-10 TDS, but I guess that depends on your source water. You're probably looking at between 40-80 TDS after prefiltering. At least that's my experience.

Think I over did my rodi. Straight from tap is 56 tds. 6 stages might be over kill. Who knows could move to worse water in future. Testing rodi tomorrow

Not a bad thing, means your filters won't have to work as hard and may last longer. I have a 4 stage and mines 50-60 out the tap. Still zero TDS. If it works it works.

Do you run a di on your four stages? I will play with it tomorrow and fine out what my zero tds stage is.

If you want 0 tds you'll need to go through the Di. The membrane is only capable of 98-99% rejection rate at it's optimal water pressure range. At 56 tds you'll still be looking at about 1 tds. Which is great cause that means your Di should last you a lot longer.

Yeah, sediment filter, carbon filter, ro membrane and the di resin. Made well over 1000L and still getting 0 TDS.

Following up here recieved mine today.
How did you set this up? Cant find anything on the 6 stage.

I set it up how it came in the box. My tds is only 56 coming out of the tap so I am only running 1 di resin. I am pushing all the water through the di without the waste line open. I release pressure from time to time. Probably not how it's supposed to run but I'm on day 3 of filling.

What kind of pressure are you looking at?
Just had a plumber come over and install a valve directly off my washer feed so I'm sure I'm going to have to tune it down....

I don't have a pressure valve. I'm just running the hose to the max without gaskets blowing out. It takes some tuning up and down the water. I could probably get a little better production but with about 30 gallons of waste water to my 100 gallons I cannot complain. But I am pretty sure the system is working harder than it wants to

Mine came with a pressure gauge I'm sorry for any misunderstanding on the valve part. I got the 6 stage it came with pressure guage. Lo and behold I only need a 1/4 turn off my washer cold water feed!
Any leaks? Of all things I'm trying to work out the leak at pressure guage!
