Instant ocean salt

Hi, I have a mixed reef 75 gallon aquarium. I have been using instant ocean salt mix. Should I be using the reef mix rather than the regular mix? Does it make that much of a difference?

I used the purple box for years and it grew everything from my gsp to my montis. However, I did see better results from RC than the basic instant ocean.

I would say stay with the regular IO.

If your not having any issues I'd stay with what your using.

I prefer the regular IO to Reef Crystals since to do not want organic chemicals such as vitamins in my salt mix. There's no demonstrated benefit, and it may make it harder to keep the salt water long term.

I have used regular IO for my reef. RC has too much Cal/ALK for my liking, IO is also high but it matches what my display is happiest at.

Thanks for the advise. I guess if it isn't broke don't fix it. Unlike my knee that I broke falling off a ladder this weekend.
