Hi guys. I would like to askif i can use fluval sea iodine or kent's iodine for a coral dip instead of lugol's iodine dip. Those two are only available locally that i can buy right now.

I am pretty sure those are iodide not iodine....iodide is the inactive form....are you trying to dip them for pests? you can just use a typical coral dip for that (coral rx pro or something like that)...or use Bayer...
Well, that makes it hard.... the local places dont have revive by seachem or anything like that? I would ask the store what they use and see if they have that....if not, I would see if they could give me a little bit to get me by until you could order it online. Fluval Sea Iodine contains high quality and ultra pure calcium iodate and potassium iodide at the proportion found in natural sea water, ensuring that you're getting a pristine product that is free of unwanted contaminates.
This is not the same as iodine unfortunately...you could try some hydrogen peroxide....we tend to use it for getting rid of bryopsis but I dont know if it will help....humblefish may know something about another option
