Bought 10lbs of live rock to seed the rest in my 55. Most of the halimeda is grey, and tank is cloudy. Should I pick off what I can or let it ride.

Ok cool. If the macro is very soft, go ahead pull it. Halimeda is a firm macro, so soft is bad. Leave the footholds (roots) and it will grow back. This will help parent nutrient levels from elevating.Only livestock is the couple corals that came on the rock.
Scratch the last question. I think we already ID’d them lol.Ok cool. If the macro is very soft, go ahead pull it. Halimeda is a firm macro, so soft is bad. Leave the footholds (roots) and it will grow back. This will help parent nutrient levels from elevating.
As for the corals, it can be an annoyance to them, so the same applies, minus maybe the airstone or powerhead at the surface. But won’t hurt if you add it/adjust them.
Side note: what corals did you end up with?
