Hi all,
for the past year I keep registering high Nickel and Vanadium in my tank.
Nickel: 15 ug/l
Vanadium 425 ug/l

I have yet to find the source.... but that's for another thread.
I can get the Nickel down with cuprisorb and/or metasorb. I'm not so sure bout the vanadium. I read the article about elevated levels of Nickel (30ish?) causing problems in invertebrates. But I haven't seen anything about what Vanadium levels are toxic to the reef. Does anyone know?

I do and have read that post. Mine is the Hawaiian. I wrote to CaribSea and they said the Hawaiian is taken from a different source and they haven't had issues with it. Although after the holiday I will probably get a buckethead and siphon it out to verify. I have checked everything many time and can't determine a source. I've even sifted through the sand for something dropped in there. No metal valves or connectors. No metal above the water.

But back to the original question - how high of Vanadium is toxic?
