I checked my sump after about 10 days, the export algae that grow is normally turf algae which grows over a baffle, I initially had Chaetomorpha which seemed to have died out a year and a half back and was replaced by turf algae, last night I discovered that the Chaetomorpha seems to have come back to life, I did see a long strand in my display a couple of weeks back.
