the reason we were all saying snails only for now is that hermits can get nippy when they get hungry and the snails will not do to well when that happens, shrimp are also pretty sensitive. IMO get naccarius and a cerith snail or two and they will help stir the sand bed and eat scaps

I understand.
I have talked to my local pet shop and have ordered some special invert food to make sure they won't starve.
Idk what it is called she just told me she had a product that could help me so I'm picking it up once I get my first aquarium inhabitants at the same shop.

Sounds fine to me, I would wait a little until you add any additional fish though

I might wait 2 months just because I really don't wanna add more livestock for now.
I'm still adding new gear like lights and another flowpump.
Other than that I'm just gonna enjoy having a simple small amount of livestock for now.
