Isopod ID

So one of these huge guys come out of a hole I was trying to get a gorilla crab out of. Pretty sure it’s the bad kind but I’ll wait for a positive ID. Assuming it is the parasitic type, what can I do to eradicate them? Just set the tank up two days ago.

I don’t have experience with these at all but it looks like a cirolanid to me. (The bad type)
