. . .when the water changes are done, skimmer cups are gleaming, pumps are clean and working at capacity, glass is sparkling on both sides, and the corals are struttin' their stuff. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the view.

It is , It is. I had a small crisis just 2 days ago. I came downstairs to a wet floor and coral up out of the water.
My main pump had seized and my skimmer was overflowing causing water eveywhere.
But now that it's in the past and nothing was hurt. A good waterchange and everything looks great... very good feeling....

Hey Brad on a side not I installed a digital aquatics float switch for my reef keeper elite on my skimmer waste container and once it trips it cuts the skimmer off. It has saved me a couple time already.

Slow? Your overall system has made huge progress this week. New mesh gets that egg crate off the top of your tank. If you ever get that reactor set up, you'll be flying.
