It's everywhere !!

Reeflux. I went thru this for 6-9 months. Nothing helped and I gave up and used Reeflux which is Fluconazole.

If it all is checking out and skimming properly id upgrade to a hanna phos checker, but red sea makes a pretty good multi test kit called "algae control pro" that ive used which is good for the money. It gets you a phos and nitrate pro test. Until then aqua vitro makes small packs of gfo that are already in a fine mesh bag that you could rinse in rodi and just lay. Below the filter floss in the cup. Let the system run a few days. And the algae will just come right off. Also you could get a green emerald crab. Feed lightly for coral nutrition and the crab will take care of the algae. Just at some point those crabs if there isnt any algae to eat or not enough food could go after you lps or softies. So just a thought... If the crab is an ***** you could always put him in time out in the sump. Lol cheers and good luck.

You can start out by reducing white light intensity and adding 4-5 turbo snails, 4 astrea and cerith snails and 6-8 blue leg hermit crabs.

I think I'll add more hermits - I like this idea. I've removed all algae with toothrush today so maybe some hermits to battle next cycle
