Finally had a Jebao pump fail. One of my wp-40's quit working last night. I have 4 of these in my 120, controlled with 2 jbwave controllers. This pump was only about 5 months old. 2 of the others are about 18 months old. I also have 2 of the wp-25's and 2 wp-10's on two other tanks. Those are also 5 months old. Guess I'll be ordering another wp-40. Well worth the money, compared to other dc controllable pumps.

No problem. $59 and I get a brand new pump in just a few days. No customer service hassle to deal with!!

Fishstreet usually offers a warranty if you buy through them as does some of the vendors on here. Also you should start upgrading to the RW series as they are much better IMHO.

Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning the pump? I have a wp-40 and 4 wp-25's going still since they were first released well over a year ago and still going strong.

It probably is still under the Fishstreet warranty, I may see what they will do. Already ordered another wp-40. I have read about the rw series, but for where this goes, and to match the other 3, I just went with the wp series.

I have cleaned the pump, and made sure it wasn't the power supply or controller. The first 2 wp-40 I have are around 18 months old, and ran their first year or so on a wavemaker with a 30 second on-off cycle. For the last few months they have run with the jbwave controller with 30% min and 70% max, 30% night.
