Bought off Ebay for $129. Includes two powerheads (tw25) with the dual controller. It's on my 65 gallon tank (36" wide).

After a week, I'm very impressed !! In fact, I have them turned down all the way and they still can blow the sand around. The options of the controller are also great with waves, surges, random, etc....

This hobby requires a lot of capital investment, but every now and then you find something that's relatively "cheap" and it does a good job. (so far..........only time will tell on the longevity)

Anyway, just my $.02 in trying to help a brutha out in saving a few beanzzz.

Jebao makes some competitive products for sure. Being a Jebao user (pumps and power heads) for many years I will tell you that you get what you pay for. On my third return pump (DCT series) and 2nd power head (RW-8). Found a quick/easy solution to extending the life of the power head, have not found a way to salvage the return pumps.

So, how do you extend the life of the powerheads?
I found a video on YouTube of a guy who used airline tubing to replace the ceramic bushing that the propeller housing slides into. I will try to find the video and post it for you. My first power head lasted roughly 8 months before issues started (seizing). Cleaned it and did this trick and its been working flawlessly ever since.

Thanks for the video, I am amaze of the Jebao but I've had to replace them a few times.
No problem! This video is obviously for the RW-8, but depending on how Jebao makes their pumps, it could carry over to multiple uses.

How about another update?

It's been nearly a year on these two Jebao Wavemaker pumps. One died and I replaced, but the other runs great.

I've only cleaned them once in a year, my neglect.

Otherwise, I like them, especially for the money.

I bought the larger series, I think the WP60 for my 180 gallon coming together in the next month or so,

I have been using 2 PP-8s for a little over 6 months now and they are working great so far. I have given the 2 good cleanings in that time and I have seen no wear or drop in performance. Also using a DC1200 as my return. Cost for the quality to me seems good.

Never had any luck with rw 8 or rw 15 but have had a pp 4 for about 4 years now
