This pump has 10 speeds which speed setting would fit a 75 gallon the best?

I have the pump. I just used around 80% and adjust my drainage hose. I never like to use 100 on any pumps

Okay right now I'm at 2 lol I felt the pressure and it felt like it was enough??? I wish there was actually instructions on this pump.
Lol. There kinda is.

You estimate the the tank and sump water vol. multiply by the desired Return rate , and that's the pump you need.

75+30= 105. X 5 return rate is 525 gph.

Do you know the head pressure for each setting?
not it gets complicated. Assuming you have a short pipe
Your pump is overrated for the tank so you don't have to worry about head loss.
So go slow. You do need to know what the overflow is Rated for so you don't push too much too fast.
My overflow is an 800ghp overflow on my 55 gal. And I have a. D.C. 5000 pump. I can set mine to full blast and it's only mildly sketchy.

It depend, like my tank the pump have to pump like over 3 feet from the sump up and I don't think I have enough pressure. As long your coral aren't flying everywhere. You can tell because your coral would open big then if you're flow is too strong the coral would shivering smaller

Thank you.

It will begin to over flow.

One the dt gets a good level over the overflow, atop. , the sump level may decrease. Then you fill to that line.

What I did was turned my ato off and saw where my level was in the sump and then turned mynpump on and matched that Level. Not sure if that was a good way but yeah lol. Also felt the pressure. But you thing having it at setting number 2 is to little?

Yes I do. My self I like a little faster flow mostly for my refugium. But the numbers would also say you could go up and probaly be happier and safe.

Head pressure is a calculation of the verticle lift of the pump. 3' of verticle lift in a straight pipe equals 3' of head. There are equivalents for every fitting. The easiest way to calculate head pressure is to find a head loss calculator on the internet and plug in your numbers.
