Hello reefers,

New to this forum. I am from San Diego… we have a forum here too, but rather small n boring.
i’ ve been reefing for about 4 years and I gotta say…. Sooooo addicting. It all started with a 2 gallon n a maroon clown fish… then graduated to a 5g, 10g, 20g, 75g, 100g, 150g, and finally two 225g, one indoor and one outdoor both tanks pretty much keep busy all the time… but, I really enjoy this hobby

Hi Vu and Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). You might want to do a thread for each of your tanks, as you get time, though they will only give you one badge. I'd love to see your setups!!

This might help you find people local to you, as I've heard San Diego is pretty active (wonder if SMAS more on FB these days - our club is website, FB, Instagram & YouTube) - bet SMAS picks back up again:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
