Just wanted to show that shadow complaint for kessils are quite real.
Bit of background: I bought this frag from Manhattan reef so browned out that they weren't sure if its a green planet or red planet(its probably red I was told) its in my tank since February of this year. Let me know what you guys think!

I don't think this is any particular surprise. I'm running two A360W, and I've come to accept that fact. My thought process is, that the corals will grow to gather the most light they can, and shadowing in the long term isn't as large of an issue as it's made to be. Running two lights, I'm able to position my SPS in between the lights to get maximum coverage, but there are some areas that shadowing is inevitable.

Well said.

Do you guys like those LEDS? I asked kessil what exact wavelength chips are in them and they would not tell me. Makes it less convenient to do spec comparison with other units. I'll accept personal experiences tho.

For lps I really like it but sps is just not growing fast enough.
People complain that LEDs make make acans go orange my acans are more colorful the when they were at LFS under halide

That looks pretty bad to me. I am running t5s with my 360we and no shadowing issue. I am not if running more units will help.

That's what I'd like to do on my tank pretty soon. The T5 supplementation should eliminate most shadowing problems since they aren't really a "directed" light like leds and halides.
