Just wondering what do these buttons do on the power supply?

Also does anyone know if the time zone is automatically set? Im so used to having to manually put it in.

One other thing. Does the moonlight adjust its intensity daily or do you just select the lunar phase and it always stays the same?

The timezone and time is set automatically once you connect it to WiFi. The lunar phase starts out in whatever phase you choose, and then adjusts from there. So if you start it out at full moon, it'll slowly transition to quarter moon to no moon as the days progress. As far as the two buttons on the driver, i'm not sure. I've never pushed them. I'll take a closer look at mine when I get home this evening.

Sweet thanks! Does the moonlight stay at the times you set or does the moonrise and moonset times adjust like it does naturally. I didnt set it up via wifi because it wasnt reccomended. Would it still find the time zone?

One more thing, i updated the firmware by plugging it into the macbook. Turned on the light. Downloaded firmware, opened up the "program" and it just popped up a picture saying it had the most current firmware. It was literally like 2 seconds. Did it work? Anywhere on the app to see firmware? Sorry for the questions.

Depended on when you purchased the light, the last firmware update was beginning of 2017 version 3.4. So it most likly already had the most recent update on it. The moonlight starts at the time you set, and then goes through the moon phases naturally based off where you start it.

Thanks for the help. I think the timezome is found via your phones time. Its working. I wonder if theres a kessil forum somewhere...

So the buttons say voltage up. Are we even supposed to touch them?

At first i was mad about this light. Two days later im happy.

I think the software needs to look nicer, like colorful. Also id like a 12 hour clock i hate 24 hour versions.

I think storm mode needs improvement. It can only last 120 seconds which is lame. And it starts flashing immediately. Should be the xlouds roll in for 30 minutes, lights start flashing then. Lightening stops. Clouds roll away some.time later.

Also the clouds setting needs a longer length. It dims instantly from sunny. It should dim slowly over a few minutes.

Also they need to fix the sunrise and sunset. Make it really really dim at first then brighten up after 10 mins.

The moonlight is too bright. Needs to be very dim. We are not lighting 20 ft deep tanks.

They also need to fix the edit mode. I dont like clicking on a 100% brightness setting at 11pm to adjust it and have the light go to 100%

Id also like.to see adjustments sliders for the other colors not just red and green.

Overall im happy sort of. The color of light is nice.

I got 2 AP700's. Jury is out on them. I got them because the Tank is in my living room and I wanted a nice Blue Shimmer and I wanted the PAR at the bottom of my tank - I have a Custom 180 Tank. I did something I can't get them to run from the program from my iPhone. I have manual control, but that is not a praticle long term solution what with work and all. I think I need to unplug, reset and start over - not sure what happened, but my corals are not happy with the changing lights.

I think Kessil needs a better interface and one that works from your windows computer.
Cost $$$$ for the Lights and $$ for the Canopy Mounts and they want you to secure it with a 2 cent plastic 'u' bracket to your canopy - come on Kessil - try again. For the $$$$ You CAN do better!

Their software sucks for the cost of the unit, and I doubt that will be changing, ever at this point. Emails to their beta program lead, and higher about some outstanding issues - crickets.

It would be nice if users could hack the software and do what you want.
