Very nice i love the rimless its very similar dims to mine. I almost bought an elos 160 but they're heavy for sure and the space where i wanted in my house would be to small. Next time when i buy my other house i will be sure to have a big enough space for it so i can get an elos 160. Great start so far its gonna be even nicer when it fills up.

Looks good!!! lets see if you can compete with Chris's tank. I just got an ELOS 70.... haven't had time to set it up, but still collecting pieces...

Update on the Australian Harlequin Tusk at Day 3:

Really beautiful tank and love your new fish! Great way to start the new year. Looking forward to seeing more.

End of Week 5 update:

Introduced the Husk into the tank Friday night, a little early than expected. He was a little uncomfortable in the small QT. He made himself at home in the large rock structure to left side of the tank. He measured in a little over 5" from tip of of his mouth to the end of his tail fin. A little bigger than what I hoped for when I ordered from blue zoo for medium size (2.5" to 4.5"). So far he is well behaved and is not harassing any of the current occupants, including snails and hermit crabs.

Today I introduced a female Bellus Angelfish I got from my LFS. The owner told me no need to QT, as the Bellus was in perfect health and has been in the store for about the month now. It was a smooth transition for the angelfish as she was right at home in my tank. It ate pellets right away after introduction and was swimming gracefully in the tank and was not shy at all. The Husk was like big ***** cat hiding in his cave as you can see.

Current occupant in the main DT:

1. Blue Hippo Tank 1.5"
2. True Percula Clown 1.5"
3. Australian Harlequin Tusk 5"
4. Bellus Angelfish Female 4"

I also did my first large water change. Skimmer is running better than I have ever seen. The rocks are also turning green. Nitrate level are still under 20ppm level and steady. Will monitor this and tune the biopellet reactor accordingly.

Update on the 7th week.

The rocks are turning more green and some tiny purple/pink coralline are starting to sprout out.

Here is pic of the hippo tang and bellus angel. I saw long ~3" white stringy excretion from the Bellus Angel today. [HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] recommends I treat the tank with prazi. Will start that treatment this weekend.

lol... Obewan protecting the reef! Love it :D

I currently have a pair of golden head sleeper gobies, trio of les village dispar anthias and a tail spot blenny in QT. All of them are eating well and looking healthy. I'm thinking of putting them all in the DT and treat the entire tank with prazi. If no ick shows up by end of this week, I will plan to do that.

Here is an update after 4 1/2 months. I have not adding many corals yet, hopefully will do that once I settle down on my fishes.

Low light:
I was busying fighting ich in the tank and having to QT some of my sick fish. As of now I have the Harlequin Tusk, Blue Hippo, Percula clown, and Yellow Tang in QT. All the initial resident in the tank seems to have formed an immunity to this particular strain of ich. They do occasionally scratch on the rocks and following the cleaner wrasse around but nothing serious. I hope this strain of ich will die off eventually. I have been QTing all my new fish and don't want to introduce any new strains.

Highlight:
I'm happy with the cleaner wrasse as it seems to keep all residents happy and clean. Its been with me for over 4 months now. I'm also happy one of my Dispar anthias which just turned to a male recently after hiding for over two weeks. I thought I lost him as he as not going out to feed. I'm not sure if adding a trio of Lyretail helped him be more confident. Lastly, my recently added Red stripe Tilefish is doing great and showing predatory eating habits after 2 weeks in the tank. He mostly eat his food while diving downward immediately after swimming to the surface of the tank. Its very strange and interesting behavior. Corals are now beginning to branch out and growing.
